Luck. Art. Faith. And the loss of all three. Such are the key ingredients in The Terminal Art's world, a world that will take you from the Midwest to Munich, introduce you to narcs, photographers, preachers, Vietnam Vets, mystic beggars, mediums, bottomless and invisible men, foul-mouthed second graders with lots of heart and a host of working-class heroes. Direct and lyrical, comic and profound, secular and religious and refreshingly off-kilter, Goll's tone is all his own, and this book, his debut, heralds a brand new and unmistakable voice in contemporary fiction.
